Deep in Breath
This morning as I was counting down my 4 sun salutations I lost myself in my deep breathing and the joy of the flow of movement. I completely forgot what number I was on: was it my 3rd or was it my 4th? I laughed at myself and told my son, who jokingly told me to start all over again, so I did one more just in case.
How am I going to keep track as the numbers get higher? I am open to suggestions!

August's Challenge: Sun Salutations
It has been way to long since I have done any decent amount of yoga. I cannot think of a better way to start or end my day than with sun salutations. I tried to find some 30 day challenges on line similar to those specific for the "30 day arm/abs/butt" challenges but really didn't find anything specific for sun salutations -lots of monthly yoga challenges though; so I made up my own calendar.

Isolation Sequence - Hoop Dance Tutorial | Free Hula Hoop Tutorials
I am excited to try these! My hoop weighs in at 2 pounds so I'm not sure how steady I will be able to keep the darned thing when I first attempt these. But talk about a great arm work out! Phew!
